Our full and trial club members enjoy licence free fishing 365 days a year, with access to pristine waters that are home to trophy sized rainbow and brook trout. We have a no motor policy which helps preserve the peaceful character of the Club. Our main body of water in Franklin Lake which is accessible by the use of traditional British style punts and casting platforms along our waters edge. As a member, you, your family, and your guests will enjoy exceptional trout fishing, peaceful days on the water, and turn key club amenities, all close to home.

The Franklin Club Hatchery
A defining part of The Franklin Club, the hatchery reflects the care, stewardship, and quality behind the fishing experience. The Club raises its own rainbow and speckled trout and stocks its lake and ponds with more than 10,000 fish each year. It is one of the many ways the Club continues to invest in an experience members return to season after season, and one that has helped shape its reputation over generations.

"This place is about half an hour from Markham. This hidden gem boasts an exceptionally beautiful environment, with plenty of fishing spots both on land and from a boat. The pond is teeming with various kinds of fish, including Rainbow trout, Brook trout, some small Bass etc. The presence of trout, which thrive only in clean water, ensures that the fish here are safe to eat. Adding to the allure, there is a fine dining restaurant nearby, as well as barbecue areas, making it a perfect destination for individuals or families to enjoy."
