An Outdoors Club Experience for Every Season
Fishing is at the heart of The Franklin Club, but the experience reaches well beyond the water. Set on a private natural property just north of the city, the Club offers the feeling of a Northern Ontario cottage retreat close to home, with the comfort, convenience and community of a private club open 365 days a year.
Throughout the seasons, members and their families enjoy a peaceful outdoor setting with space to gather, dine, stay overnight and spend time in nature. The Clubhouse serves as a welcoming year-round hub, featuring dining, lakeview gathering spaces, a large deck, comfortable lounges, games room, a wood fireplace and spaces for private meetings, dinners and member hosted events.
Outside, the property offers room to enjoy the outdoors in every season. Summer brings time on the trails, boating, BBQs, picnics, camping and relaxed days around the property. Winter brings its own rhythm, with ice skating, cross-country skiing, fireside gatherings and quiet afternoons inside the Clubhouse. From warm-weather weekends to winter visits, The Franklin Club gives members something to enjoy all year long.

The Clubhouse
A spacious three-level lakeside clubhouse with lounges, guest rooms, games, lockers, showers, and views of Franklin Lake.
Overnight Stays
Extend your visit and stay overnight in one of the clubhouse guest rooms, at a campsite, or in the private cottage.
The Dining Room
The Clubhouse has its own Dining Room available to serve members and their guests. Weather depending, enjoy your meal on our large deck overlooking the beautiful Franklin Lake.
Camping, Picnics & Swimming
The Franklin Club’s property includes three campsites, all with their own propane BBQ and raised fire pit. The campsites share a comfort station which includes; running water, flushable toilettes, and hydro.
Hiking Trails
The Franklin Club has over 200 scenic acres for many activities on our property. Our trails are accessible all year.
Winter Activities
Enjoy outdoor winter activities such as ice skating, ice fishing, hockey and more!
