The Franklin Club Membership Experience

Becoming a member of The Franklin Club offers far more than access to private fishing waters. It is an invitation to enjoy the many perks and benefits of private Club life, where exceptional outdoor experiences, four season recreation, chef prepared dining, overnight accommodations, family time, and meaningful events and gatherings are all part of the experience. Set against the spirit of Northern Ontario cottage living, the Club is also defined by a strong sense of belonging and a community of members who value tradition, quiet enjoyment, and time well spent in the outdoors.

Fishing Benefits & Privileges

  • Enjoy year round access to the Club’s 200 acre property across all four seasons, 365 days a year.
  • Fish the Club’s 22 acre lake, along with two additional ponds located on the property.
  • Enjoy license free fishing on private waters reserved for members and their guests.
  • Access our Club Pros to learn, improve, and refine your angling skills by joining Club group lessons or booking private lessons.
  • Fish with confidence knowing the Club’s waters are supported by its own renowned hatchery, stocked with superb Rainbow and Speckled Trout.
  • Benefit from a limited membership base that helps preserve space, quiet, and quality on the water.
  • As part of your membership privileges, you may keep up to 100 fish per year. Lakeside cleaning station and bags of ice are available for your convenience.
  • Enjoy ice fishing in the winter, including access to huts prepared for members.
  • Fly Fishing equipment and gear rentals are available.
  • Connect with fellow Club members and our Pros through the members website to share fishing updates, observations, and techniques, and stay informed on what is happening at the Club.

Family Fun & Outdoor Activities

  • Fishing and outdoor education and learning opportunities for all ages and experience levels.
  • Trek through our network of hiking trails throughout the Club’s 200 acre property and surrounding natural landscape.
  • Spend time together at the sand beach area. Perfect for picnics, swimming and summer enjoyment.
  • Make family visits even more enjoyable with access to the Club’s playground.
  • Embrace winter at the Club with skating, pond hockey, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing.
  • Take part in themed events, seasonal gatherings, and family activities held throughout the year.
  • Take part in partner events, Club outings, tournaments, and special member experiences offered throughout the year.

Dining, Accommodations & Entertaining

  • Fully staffed dining room that is open five days a week from Wednesday – Sunday, including holidays.
  • Dine indoors or on our sun filled waterfront patio for brunch, lunch, dinner and supper.
  • Enjoy your own wine with no corkage fee in the dining room.
  • Reserve the clubhouse and meeting spaces for private gatherings and celebrations.
  • Use meeting space with conference call capability for business retreats or personal gatherings
  • Stay overnight and reserve one of the Club’s five guest suites within the clubhouse.
  • Stay at one of our three on site camping areas, including one with electrical hookup. Each site features a fire pit and propane BBQ.
  • The Club offers on site equipment storage lockers, showers, and liquor lockers for your convenience.

Guest Access

  • At The Franklin Club, your immediate family is included with your membership, and you also have the privilege of welcoming guests to the Club, including friends, family, colleagues, and clients.
