The Franklin Clubhouse & Lounge

A Lakeside Clubhouse Built for Members

At the heart of The Franklin Club is its three-level clubhouse, a spacious lakeside gathering place designed around the way members use and enjoy the property. Overlooking Franklin Lake, the clubhouse brings together comfort, tradition, and convenience in one central setting.

Members can relax in the main lounge, gather by the fireplace, enjoy the lake views from inside or out on the deck, spend time in the games room, stay overnight upstairs, or make use of lockers, showers, WiFi, and meeting spaces throughout the building. It is built for full days at the Club, extended visits, family time, member events, and year-round use.

The clubhouse is one of the Club’s strongest lifestyle amenities. It gives members a place to slow down, connect, and enjoy the full Franklin Club experience before and after time on the water.

The Clubhouse Main Floor

The Main Lounge

The main floor of The Franklin Clubhouse is home to the Club’s primary lounge, a spacious lakeside gathering area of more than 1,000 square feet. Overlooking Franklin Lake, this bright and welcoming space gives members a comfortable place to relax before and after time on the water, gather with family and friends, attend club events, or simply enjoy the view.

The lounge has the character of a classic private fishing club, with warm wood finishes, comfortable seating, a wood-burning fireplace, fishing memorabilia, club trophies, and historic details throughout the room. The space is large enough for member events and presentations, yet still comfortable for everyday visits, quiet afternoons, and casual time spent at the Club.

Members also have access to a wet bar, kitchen area, ice machine, liquor lockers, soft drinks, bottled water, WiFi, and a small library. These added conveniences make the lounge easy to use throughout the day, whether members are stopping in between activities, entertaining guests, or settling in for a longer visit.

Just off the main lounge, the large lake-facing deck and patio extend the clubhouse experience outdoors. With views across Franklin Lake, it is a natural place to sit in the sun, enjoy a drink, take in the property, or enjoy a meal outside. The Club’s dining room is also adjacent to the lounge, with chef-prepared meals and seasonal menus available through the dedicated Dining & Menus page.

    The Games Room

The games room adds a relaxed indoor space to the clubhouse experience. Located on the ground level, this room gives members and families a place to take a break from the outdoors, play a game, watch TV, warm up by the fireplace, or spend time together between activities.

This space is especially useful for family visits and longer days at the Club. Members can move from fishing, hiking, dining, or time on the deck into a casual room that feels easy and inviting. It gives children, guests, and members another way to enjoy the clubhouse beyond the main lounge.

The room includes a convertible pool and ping pong table, dart board, TV, fireplace, and sitting area. It is a practical year-round amenity that adds comfort, activity, and flexibility to the Club experience, whether members are visiting for a few hours, staying overnight, or spending a full day on the property.

        Outdoor Patio & Lakeview Deck

The clubhouse patio extends the main lounge experience outdoors, giving members a bright, open-air space to relax, dine, and enjoy views of Franklin Lake. Located just off the main lounge and dining room, the deck is a natural gathering place before or after time on the water.

With outdoor seating, umbrellas, and direct access from the clubhouse, the patio adds another comfortable space for members to enjoy the property throughout the warmer months. It is ideal for sunny afternoons, casual meals, drinks after fishing, or simply taking in the view of the lake from the heart of the Club.

The patio also helps connect the clubhouse to the rest of the property, making it easy to move between the lounge, dining room, lake, and outdoor amenities during a full day at the Club.

          Clubhouse Lower Level

          Locker & Change Rooms

The Clubhouse includes a large member locker area, giving members a convenient place to store fishing gear, outdoor clothing, and personal items between visits. Instead of packing and unpacking the car each time, members can leave key items on-site, arrive ready, and spend more time enjoying the property.

This is especially useful for members who visit regularly, spend full days at the Club, or enjoy the property across multiple seasons. The locker area makes it easier to move between the lake, clubhouse, dining room, patio, and other amenities without carrying everything back and forth each visit.

The lower level also includes men’s and women’s change rooms with bathroom and shower facilities, giving members a practical place to clean up after fishing, outdoor activities, or a full day at the Club before heading back upstairs to the lounge, dining room, or a Club event.

          Private Meeting Room

Also located on the lower level, the Clubhouse includes a private meeting room for smaller groups of up to 10 people. With audio/visual and conference call capability, the space can be used for business meetings, planning sessions, member discussions, or private use.

This gives members access to a quiet, functional room within the Clubhouse while still being close to the lounge, dining room, deck, and other Club amenities.

          Clubhouse Upper Level

          Overnight Guest Rooms

The upper level of The Franklin Clubhouse features five individual guest rooms, giving members the option to stay overnight right inside the main clubhouse. Located above the lounge, dining room, deck, and lakefront amenities, these rooms make it easy to extend a visit and enjoy more time at the Club.

The guest rooms are a valuable part of the clubhouse experience, especially for members planning a full day of fishing, attending a Club event, hosting family, or enjoying a weekend on the property. Instead of rushing home after time on the water, members can stay upstairs and continue enjoying the comfort and convenience of the Clubhouse.

Each room offers a simple, comfortable place to rest while staying close to the main Club amenities. With the lounge, games room, dining room, deck, locker room, showers, and Franklin Lake all nearby, the upper-level rooms help make The Franklin Club feel like more than a day-use destination.
