The Franklin Club, In Our 100th Year Announces The Appointment Of Ian James As Club Pro

About the Club

Located forty-five minutes north of Toronto, at West Franklin, near the town of Mount Albert, The Franklin Club is a member-owned, private recreational fishing club specializing in fly-fishing and spin casting for rainbow and speckled trout.

The Club ensures the quality of its fish stock by maintaining one of Ontario's finest hatchery facilities.

Established in 1909 by a group of doctors from St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, The Franklin Club was originally created as a private weekend fishing getaway. Over the years, the Club has evolved into a year round fishing retreat for anglers. Members, including spouses, are encouraged to invited their families and friends to participate in the wide range of outdoor activities available at The Franklin Club.
